What will the Border Crossings look like on a Friday Night during the summertime?
My family is planning a get together/picnic on Washington's coast. I am going to have to get through the borders (pacific or peace arch) on a friday night.
What does the border look like at this time of day in the summer?
Friday nights are always busy and sometimes the lineups take up to six hours to clear. It's going to depend on what the exchange rate is as well. If the dollar continues to climb and hits parity or goes over, there will be a stampede of shoppers crossing the border on Friday night. If the dollar drops in value, avid shoppers will stay home. It's really hard to predict. Just give yourself lots of time.
